We are now in our 7th year of providing education for some 35 Indian children who would otherwise be on the streets begging or working at the side of their parents in construction work on the side of a road. The majority of these are in and around the GHI center in Madras and are monitored and tutored by Ruth Sundar, a former teacher. We have several of these 35 that need sponsors this year as well as some who are waiting in the wings for sponsors.

Here is the program…for only $325 a year, a student receives:
Full annual tuition….two sets of uniforms….all their supplies with a backpack….and transportation to and from school. Here's what you will receive - a picture, a bio sketch of the child and their family and a lot of joy knowing that you're investing in the life and future of a child and removing them from a life of poverty!
